diary: reading bunniYou know what it's like when you find a new author you really, really love and then discover that he's written 40 or 50 books? It's like hitting the jackpot, baby. Good reading + prolific author = one happy Vikki. The same can be said for blogs. So when Bacchus introduced me to Bunni, it was a happy moment indeed. Great writing, and lots of it to read. Yum. She's funny, honest, and reminds me of myself ever so occasionally: The problem is in the past I haven't displayed what many people would call extrodinarily competent mate selection. I mean, I spent 2 years with some moron who couldn't tell me he loved me or admit that we were in a long term relationship. And that was one of the not so bad relationships I was in. Or, another example: What is it about a romantic complimentary guy that just makes me suspcious? [...] What is it about a guy who respects my body, takes care of my needs, and finds the fact that I am completely nuts sexy that makes me think he is secretly a wife abuser or a Mossad agent? One more, and that's all, honest: What is it about a man that calls me baby that I like. I can't understand it, it's supposed to be demeaning and objectifying and I'm sure feminists all over the globe are getting the flaming torches ready to roast me, but I do so love it. Hear, hear. Go.
